Museum Maker Club: Rainbows & Leprechauns
Tuesday, March 10 (one class), 3:30–4:30pm
This program is for grades K–3, and is offered monthly with different themes each time. Our March theme is “Rainbows & Leprechauns”, and students will learn about rainbows through fun experiments, games, and art projects! Each session includes a take-home art or engineering project.
Museum Maker Club is a drop-off program, though we welcome grown-ups to stay nearby or in the building during class time. Maker Club will be held in our STEAM Lab—please note that the museum is closed to the public on Tuesday afternoons.

Day to day responsibilities and demands can sometimes feel like they pull joy out of our lives, but that’s not any way to live. We’re in this together.
We offer year round admission discounts to make a day of play accessible to all families. Are you a PreK through 5th grade teacher? You get half off your admission. Active or veteran military family? You get half off all your admissions during the school year. Local libraries all over the region offer half-off admission passes. EBT/WIC cardholders from any state pay only $3.50/person for cardholders, partners, and their children. And we’ve even hooked up social service agencies across the state with free museum passes for any of their clients.
If you are experiencing a hard time, financially, please speak up and let us know. We can help. Because play brings joy. And that is priceless.

PLEASE NOTE: If a class has to be canceled due to low enrollment, we will reach out to you and let you know one week prior to the start of class and you will be fully refunded, or we can help you reschedule for an upcoming class. If your child isn’t able to join the class after signing up, please note that we do not offer refunds unless you give us notice 2 weeks prior to the first day of class.
Our classes will NOT be held if Dover public schools are closed or have a delayed opening. In the event of a cancellation, we will do our best to reach everyone signed up for the class through email, but please also check the museum’s Facebook page for closing information before leaving for the museum on inclement weather days.
