The Museum offers fun and creative half-day camps for small groups of different ages, facilitated by our experienced educators.
Camp Info
- Each day starts with time to explore the museum, followed by activities in the classroom, and time to play games and have a snack outside in the park (weather permitting).
- Please pack a water bottle and snack
- Pre-registration and pre-payment required

Mini Camps for Ages 4-5
FULL - Messy Art Mini Camp

For ages 4-5 (must use bathroom independently)
Campers will have a blast exploring science- and art-related projects with daily hands-on experiments, creative crafts, and incredible art projects.

Kids will learn about the many local nocturnal creatures that come out at night and have adapted to survive in our area.

FULL - Storybook Adventures Mini Camp

Kids will flex their imagination and creativity as they explore the fantastical world of fairy tales through art projects and science experiments.

Kids will try some amazing experiments, create messy mixtures, and learn about science.

For ages 6-7
Kids will learn all about wild creatures and amazing animals through STEAM challenges and experiments.

3D Print It Discovery Camps
3D Print It Discovery Camp for Beginners
Tues., August 12 – Thu., August 14
8:30-11:30am
For ages 8-10
Kids will learn how 3D objects are printed from the ground up using free and accessible software. Each camper will bring home a simplified 3D printed object that they design themselves, as well as try hands-on art and science activities to further explore 3D objects, melting, and matter.

Advanced 3D Print It Discovery Camp
Tues., August 19 – Thu., August 21
8:30-11:30am
For ages 10-12+
Please note: This camp is for children ages 10-12. If your child is older than 12, but would like to attend, please contact us to learn more [email protected]
This camp is designed as an advanced course for kids who have taken the beginner camp or who have experience with 3D printers. Campers will have an opportunity to learn how to break down objects into their basic shapes and how complex 3D objects are printed from the ground up. Kids will bring home a complex 3D printed object that they design themselves, as well as try hands-on art and science activities to further explore 3D objects, melting, and matter.
