Families have access to a private classroom area for food and cake, along with complete access to the museum’s exhibits. The museum is closed to the public during birthday parties, however parties are at the same time and are NOT private. If you want a private party, you must book both party times. Museum educators will be doing a story time while a friendly costumed Bruce visits! Bruce will be available for hugs, high-paws, and photos at 10am during the morning play session (9am–noon) on Saturday. Each story time lasts approximately 30 minutes—please time your arrival accordingly to guarantee a visit with Bruce. Want to meet Bruce?     Join us for a weekly program that emphasizes the importance of tinkering! Tinkering helps little ones develop fine motor skills, increases problem solving abilities, and is an open invitation to foster peer relationships! What is tinkering?! Tinkering can range from taking something apart and putting it back together to making an open-ended sculpture, to playing with “loose parts” and special science tools. We will have different activities every week and some old favorites will pop up again and again. Want to join in?     Visit the Children’s Museum of New Hampshire today during the morning play session, 9am–Noon, and meet one of our Gallery 6 artists, Elise Morissette, at 10:30am. Elise will guide visitors as they try some Suminagashi—Floating Ink Art! Try this relaxing style of printmaking where water carries ink in swirls and colorful rings. No experience necessary and perfect for all ages. The fun is included with museum admission and free for Members.
