    Clifford the Big Red Dog, that pup grown ginormous from LOVE, will be visiting the museum to greet young fans and help promote the love of reading! Books Alive seeks to make reading a regular family experience. Museum educators will be doing a story time while a friendly costumed Clifford visits! Clifford will be available for hugs, high-paws, and photos at 10am during the morning play session (9am–noon) and at 2pm during the afternoon play session (1–4pm). Each story time lasts approximately 30 minutes—please time your arrival accordingly to guarantee a visit with Clifford. There will also be a variety of Clifford-inspired literacy, math, and creative activities. Want to meet Clifford? This weekly program features songs, rhymes, movement ideas, and books for babies and their caregivers and introduces important pre-literacy skills along the way! This drop-in program and informal playgroup is a great way to socialize with other babies and caregivers. Want to join in?   • Artist Visit: Haley Searcy

    Visit the Children’s Museum of New Hampshire today during the afternoon play session, 1–4pm, and meet one of our Gallery 6 artists, Haley Searcy at 2:30pm. Haley will help you bring your favorite color to life with a fun “Make Your Own Pin” activity. Kids can decorate a pre-cut circle with their favorite color using markers, crayons, or stickers, and Haley will help you turn it into a colorful take-home creation. The fun is included with museum admission and free for Members. Haley’s work is currently on view in the museum’s Gallery 6 “Stroll the Rainbow” art exhibition. Learn More

    The Children’s Museum of New Hampshire is excited to welcome back Oaxacan wood carver Norberto Fabian, son of the late master carver Ventura Fabian! Norberto will share his artwork with museum guests, do a demonstration, and answer questions. This program will start at 10:30am (during the museum’s morning play session from 9 am–Noon) on Sunday, November 2, is included with museum admission, and is, as always, free for Museum Members.  Learn More
