Celebrate your child's next birthday with us! Birthday Parties are available to book at CMNH on Friday, Saturday and Sunday afternoons. Families have access to a private classroom area for food and cake, along with complete access to the museum's exhibits. The museum is closed to the public during birthday parties, however parties are at the same time and are NOT private. If you want a private party, you must book both party times. Parents are expected to stay with their children while playing in the museum, and help them follow museum rules. Children may not be left unattended at any time. Online booking required. Theme changes each month. Want to join in? Principal Strings from the Portsmouth Symphony Orchestra: "Frozen, Fish, and Fairytales" Saturday, March 28, 2 pm Come play in the Children’s Museum of New Hampshire on Saturday, March 28 from 1–4pm and catch a special performance by the principal string players from the Portsmouth Symphony Orchestra at 2pm! The duo, who have performed together across New England, will play their “Frozen, Fish, and Fairytales” show, featuring music from popular movies and shows that you may recognize! This performance is included with museum admission (free for Members) thanks to the generous sponsorship by The Fuller Foundation and Dover Rotary Club. Learn More
