Junior Science Class: Reactions
Mondays, October 6, 13, 20 & 27 (4 weeks), 9:30–10:15am Join us for Junior Science at the Children’s Museum of New Hampshire. We are excited to invite junior scientists (ages 3.5–5 years old) to our October session, offered on Monday mornings! This 45 minute drop-off class includes a story and a fun science experiment related to each month’s theme. Grown-ups are welcome to stay in the building during class time, and families with siblings may opt to play on the second floor during the class time—please note that the museum is closed to the public on Mondays. Little Artists: Sculpture
Monday, October 6 (one class), 10:45–11:30am Join us for Little Artists at the Children’s Museum of New Hampshire. We are excited to invite little artists (ages 3.5–5 years old) to our October session, offered on the first Monday of the month! This 45 minute drop-off class includes a story and an art project to take home. Grown-ups are welcome to stay in the building during class time, and families with siblings may opt to play on the second floor during the class time—please note that the museum is closed to the public on Mondays. Exploring Our Way: Sensory Friendly Playtime
For some children, a museum visit is challenging and over-stimulating. The Exploring Our Way: Sensory Friendly playtimes are exclusive to families of children with special needs. These reduced admission, low-sensory events are designed for children with autism spectrum or sensory processing disorders to explore the Museum along with their families without the noise, crowds, and stimulation of a typical day. The museum is closed to the public during Exploring Our Way playtimes. We limit attendance, turn down sounds and lights, provide a quiet zone with sensory activities, and have noise-canceling headphones to borrow. A medical diagnosis is not required.
