Celebrate your child's next birthday with us! Birthday Parties are available to book at CMNH on Friday and Sunday afternoons. Families have access to a private classroom area for food and cake, along with complete access to the museum's exhibits. The museum is closed to the public during birthday parties, however parties are at the same time and are NOT private. If you want a private party, you must book both party times. Parents are expected to stay with their children while playing in the museum, and help them follow museum rules. Children may not be left unattended at any time. Online booking required. Wacky Art Wednesdays
Join us at the Children’s Museum of New Hampshire every Wednesday at either 10:30am or 2:30pm to do a wacky and wonderful art project. Children are invited to join our educators to make a wacky and wonderful art project to take home! We’ll take inspiration from art in our own Gallery 6, from famous artists, or from the world around us. Want to join in? Simply reserve spots in the museum’s play session that correspond to the date of the Wacky Art Wednesday you want to join! Included with museum admission, and as always, free for Members! Teddy Bear Clinic
Kids and their favorite stuffed friends are invited to join the Children’s Museum of New Hampshire for our annual Teddy Bear Clinic, a fun event that helps educate kids about what happens at the doctor’s office. Each child’s stuffed animal is checked in and given an ID bracelet; then children take their animals to meet with a volunteer doctor or nurse for a check-up. If needed, animals can be taken to the surgical table for stitches, band-aids, and ribbons. Each animal receives a certificate of good health at the end of the process. Upon leaving the museum, children will be offered snacks-to-go that they can enjoy on the way home or outside in the park. Online reservations are required.
