Programs Included with Admission

The following programs are included with museum admission, and the only thing you need to do to participate in them is to sign up for a play session.

Please note: Although we do our very best to always offer what we've promised, activities are subject to change.

Toddler Tinker Time

Every Tuesday morning from 10:30-11:30am

Tinker Time gives children a chance to try out different open-ended activities such as building, using art materials, sorting tasks, and trying sensory activities. This self-guided activity has different stations set up for children to explore with their grown-ups. Online reservations and pre-payment are required for each play session, but nothing additional needs to be reserved to participate in the Toddler Tinker Time activities.

What is tinkering?! Tinkering can range from taking something apart and putting it back together (think puzzles!) to making an open ended sculpture, to playing with “loose parts” and special science tools. We will have different activities every week and some old favorites will pop up again and again. This is an unstructured, drop-in program that is free for members and included with museum admission.

Themes:
Tuesdays, May 2 from 10:30-11:30am: Fairies & Gnomes
Tuesdays, May 9 & 16 from 10:30-11:30am: Bugs
Tuesdays, May 23 & 30 from 10:30-11:30am: Colors

Want to join in Toddler Tinker Time? Simply reserve spots in the museum's morning play session that corresponds to the date of the Toddler Tinker Time you want to join - it's included with museum admission, and as always, free for Members!
