Rent Our Museum
Put A Playful Spin On Your Next Special Event
Our unique facility accommodates any type of gathering, from family reunions and summer outings to corporate events and holiday parties. The memorable setting includes beautiful views of the Cocheco River and surrounding historic mill buildings, and our central location and easy parking offers added convenience.
How many guests can we accommodate?
Full rental of the entire Museum during private hours will accommodate up to 300 people for a cocktail-style reception and up to 80 people for a seated event. For smaller business meetings or parties during public hours, our Deep Sea Classroom provides tables and seating for up to 30 adults.
Facility Rentals Also Include:
Exclusive use of the museum, featuring 16,000 square feet of creative exhibits, an art gallery and meeting rooms
Easy access for event set-up including a loading dock, elevator, separate prep space and refrigeration for professional catering needs
Public address system (Bluetooth compatible) for music and announcements
Access to tables in a variety of shapes and heights that can be positioned as needed throughout the museum
An eclectic collection of many child and adult-sized chairs, as well as creative seating options throughout the museum
Experienced museum staff on-hand to support your function and keep the museum looking its best during the event
Rental Times
Museum rentals during private hours are available:
Tuesdays - Fridays between 4:30-7:30pm, Sundays between 1-4pm

Rates for a private 3-hour Museum rental:
30-60 people: $800
61-100 people: $1,000
101-150 people: $1,200
151-200 people: $1,600
201-300 people: $2,000
Additional Time Beyond 3 Hours: $200/hour
Rates include setup and breakdown with assistance from Museum staff inside the three-hour rental time.
Museum Members, as well as non-profit organizations with 501(c)(3) status receive a 10% discount on facility rentals.
Food and Beverage Service
The Children's Museum of NH does not provide food or beverage service for rentals. We would be happy to recommend area food and beverage service providers to you upon request. Any event requiring catering service must be pre-approved by the Children's Museum. Museum staff, caterer, and lessee should meet at least two weeks prior to the event to discuss arrangements and final details.
If you plan to serve alcohol at your event, alcohol service must be provided by a New Hampshire licensed caterer and be served and consumed in accordance with New Hampshire state regulations.
